Your installation's MWR office is worth checking before buying attraction tickets elsewhere — rates can beat the published military discount. It also handles recreational lodging and campgrounds.
What MWR offers
- ITT / LTS ticket offices
- Reduced rates on theme park, attraction, and event tickets — often lower than the ticket seller's own published military discount, but this varies by installation and date, so it's worth comparing

- On-base cabins, cottages, and vacation rentals below market rates
- Military campgrounds
- Affordable camping on or near installations nationwide

- Many offices assist with PCS planning, vacation research, and group travel
Veteran access
Since January 1, 2020, veterans with any service-connected disability rating — including 0% — can access MWR programs with a VHIC card stamped "SERVICE CONNECTED." This significantly expanded who can use these facilities.
How to access. MWR programs are run through your installation's MWR/ITT offices — accessed directly, not through a travel advisor.
